When your rent-to-own plan is completed, a new perpetual license is deposited into your iLok account (the same that was used at the start of your rent-to-own plan).
The rent-to-own license itself then expires and becomes dormant, when the new perpetual license is deposited. To activate the new perpetual license:
- Open the iLok License Manager, log in and search for a the new asset from Schwabe Digital.
- Activate the asset on either your computer or physical iLok key from the iLok License Manager.
- Click your account name in the top left corner, then click: Available licenses across the top (make sure the iLok License Manager window is maximized, because this tab will otherwise be hidden).
- Then navigate to the iLok asset from Schwabe Digital and right-click on the asset to assign it to a device.
- Once the asset is assigned to your computer or iLok key your plug-in is activated.
- Open your DAW and the plug-in should be authorized.
