We appreciate that premium production tools are a consdered investment for your passion and your work, and so we offer two ways of financing any of our paid plug-ins:
- Perpetual licenses are paid for in full, upfront.
- Rent-to-own (RTO) plans cost exactly the same as the pereptual licenses, but the cost is spread over 10 monthly installments.
The RTO plan is NOT a subscription, because after 10 months, the automated direct debits stop and you own the plug-in and all of its future updates, forever. From day 1, you have all the functionality of the perpetual license. The payment plan is 0% interest too, so there is no additional cost when paying this way.
Should you wish to take a break from the RTO payment plan, you can pause and restart your payments at any time. Please check out this article for detailed steps on how to do this within your Schwabe Digital account.

Please keep in mind that once your RTO license is paid off, a new perpetual iLok license will automatically be deposited on your iLok account, and your RTO license will expire. The new license will need to be reactivated via iLok license manager - see here for more info.
